The New Brunswick Association of Planners (NBAP) is seeking a professional facilitator to lead a provincial symposium and discussion on a set of proposed statements of provincial interest. This symposium is Phase 3 of an ongoing Environmental Trust Fund Project undertaken by the NBAP in partnership with the Department of Environment and Local Government. Phase 1 resulted in the business case for statements of provincial interest, Phase 2 included development and distribution of fact sheets on the proposed 5 statements as well as four regional meetings of stakeholders to discuss the proposed statements. Phase 3 and the Provincial Symposium is meant to bring a range of stakeholders and perspectives together to build consensus on Provincial Statements of Interest, in particular, the five draft statements on 1) climate adaptation; 2) flood risk; 3) coastal development; 4) health and the built environment; and 5) transportation and infrastructure.
