Call for Nominations – API Board 2022

The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 20, 2022.
Atlantic Planners Institute has the following vacancies on the Board of Directors:
- One full member (RPP/LPP/MCIP) whose primary affiliation is Prince Edward Island Institute of Professional Planners (three year term)
- One full member (RPP/LPP/MCIP) whose primary affiliation is any of the four provincial provincial planner organizations (three year term)
- A Student Board member (two year term, renewable for one additional one-year term)
The Board of Directors is accountable to the members, has a fiduciary responsibility to the Institute as a whole, and is elected by its members (the four provincial associations). The Board is responsible for setting policy and strategic direction of the Institute.
The directors will be selected at the AGM for Atlantic Planners Institute on June 16, 2022.
Position Requirements
With the exception of the Student Board member, directors must be full members of good standing of their respective provincial organization (LPP, RPP, and/or MCIP).
The Student Board member must be a member of API in good standing and enrolled in an accredited planning program.
Nominees must not be a member of the Board/Council of another provincial or national planning association.
Nomination Process
If you are interested in this position please consider letting your name stand by submitting a brief biography and expression of interest indicating your relevant experience, skills, and motivation for a director position (max 200 words) using the
nomination form.
Deadline and Confirmation:
The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 20, 2022. Nominees will be contacted by email to acknowledge and confirm the receipt of their nomination to the Board of Directors.
