Please join us for a lunch and learn with Andrew Taylor on Feb. 27th from noon to one at Halifax Central Library, Room 301.

The presentation will deal with customer service specifically as it relates to people with various disabilities, touching on issues of etiquette and ways to make the most of every interaction. Andrew will also discuss the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification and the municipality’s commitment to incorporating it into new developments and the existing built environment.

As a wheelchair user for over 30 years, Andrew has a unique perspective on some of the challenges presented by the current built environment. He is a recent graduate from the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification and uses the skills gained in this program along with his lived experience to help propel Nova Scotia toward an accessible and inclusive future.
