Topic: Atlantic Data Stream: Atlantic DataStream is an open access platform for sharing information on freshwater health. It currently allows users to access, visualize, and download full water quality datasets collected by 23 monitoring groups from Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. DataStream is built with and for a growing community of water champions. DataStream is much more than software, it is a space to bring people and data together, so we can better care for the waters we share. Emma will discuss the relevance of ADS in informing local and regional policies to protect water and naturalized areas as well as ADS as a data collection and engagement model.
