St. John’s Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF)

The City of St. John’s has been allocated over $10.4 million in federal funding through the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s Housing Accelerator Fund to stimulate housing growth. This presentation will discuss how St. John’s is putting the HAF into action through Development Regulations amendments and incentives. Learn about the progress made to date and the next steps.

Lindsay Lyghtle Brushett, MCIP, is the Supervisor of Planning and Development for the City of St. John’s. She is a full member of CIP and has worked with the City for 14 years. Prior to her work with the City, she worked for several years in Cape Breton, before moving to Newfoundland and working for the Town of Portugal Cove-St. Phillips. Lindsay has served on the NLAPP executive for many years and is currently an API Board member.

Susan Walsh is the City of St. John’s Housing Accelerator Funding (HAF) Coordinator.
