Claudia Jahn and Adriane Salah will provide an overview of AHANS’ recent projects in HRM aimed at increasing non-profit housing supply, considering both supports and barriers that arose.

Claudia Jahn is the Director of Community Housing Development at AHANS. She has been working in the housing and homelessness sector for over 30 years focusing on property development and management, strategic leadership, research and program administration. Since 2017 she has been the co-chair of the Affordable Housing Working Group of the Halifax Housing and Homelessness Partnership. Prior to moving to Nova Scotia, she was involved in the development and management of private and social housing portfolios in Berlin.

Adriane Salah is a planner with AHANS. Her work focuses on opportunities to preserve and develop affordable housing.
