Pablo Navarro is the Senior Research Officer at the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Applied Health Research at Memorial University. His focus is contextualized evidence synthesis and knowledge translation for health system decision makers. In 2011, he co-founded the Building Health Communities Collaborative, with the goal of putting population health outcomes on the community planning agenda. In addition to his work, Pablo is a PhD student in the division of Community Health and Humanities, Faculty of Medicine, studying the provincial government’s implementation of Health in All Policies. He will present on the BC Healthy Built Environment Linkages Toolkit. The Linkages Toolkit is an evidence-based resource for municipal governments and community planners to help understand the influence of the built environment on health, and to inform decision making to support healthy built environments.
