Fundamentals of Useful Transit

LPPANS Webinar – January 20th, 2021, 2 – 3 PM

Join Michelle Poyourow of Jarrett Walker + Associates to learn the fundamentals of what makes transit useful. Topics will include: the importance of access, attributes of quality transit service, and land use characteristics that support transit. She’ll also provide some cautions about the latest distractions and distortions that make it hard to have clear conversations about transit plans.

Michelle Poyourow is a consultant in public transit and multi-modal planning and policy. She is a Senior Associate at Jarrett Walker + Associates. Michelle’s analysis and planning experience spans issues of transit operations, transportation demand management, transit oriented development, complete streets and the integration of transit and active transportation.
