On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Professional Planners (NLAPP) is pleased to host Stephen Penney at a Planner’s Plate.  A lawyer specializing in municipal law, Steve will be providing an overview of recent planning case law.

A partner with Stewart McKelvey Lawyers, Steve’s practice includes a focus on municipal law.  He has been counsel in numerous precedent-setting municipal cases and has argued before the appeal boards in Newfoundland and Labrador.  Recently Steve has co-written an article “Constructive Taking”: Consequences for municipalities from the Supreme Court of Canada decision in Annapolis Group Inc. v. This Planner’s Plate will be held at the Torbay Common, 8 Kinsmen Place in Torbay on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at noon.
