On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Professional Planners (NLAPP) is pleased to host Stephen Penney at a Planner’s Plate.  A lawyer specializing in municipal law, Steve will be providing an overview of recent planning case law.

A partner with Stewart McKelvey Lawyers, Steve’s practice includes a focus on municipal law.  He has been counsel in numerous precedent-setting municipal cases and has argued before the appeal boards in Newfoundland and Labrador.  Recently Steve has co-written an article “Constructive Taking”: Consequences for municipalities from the Supreme Court of Canada decision in Annapolis Group Inc. v. NLAPP is thrilled that Steve can share his experience and insights on recent planning case law at a Planners Plate.

This Planner’s Plate will be held at the Torbay Common, 8 Kinsmen Place in Torbay on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at noon.
