Planners write for diverse groups: residents, decision makers, applicants and other planners. Clear writing is key to getting our message across to all our readers.  Join us for an introduction to plain language, a way to create clear messages that readers will quickly understand.

Nicole Watkins Campbell is a freelance editor and plain language consultant. She has created plain language materials for legislation; edited bylaws and policies for not-for-profit organizations; and edited public legal and financial information to make it clearer for average readers. She also trains editors to improve legal writing.
