Overview: In this presentation, we present our research on the relationship between road-length per person and costs in communities across Canada, with a focus on communities in the Maritimes. We present the relationship between this indicator and other outcomes, such as mode share. We also discuss how municipalities can use this indicator to reduce their costs and plan for growth.
