The session will discuss the history of the age-friendly movement in NL, as well as barriers and opportunities in the application of age-friendly principles as demographics continue to shift.

Presenter: Henry Kielly – I am a registered social worker from St. John’s currently in the role of director of seniors and aging with the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development.  I am also the provincial director of adult protection.
