Jill Snow is the Outreach Specialist in Partnerships and Promotions with CMHC and covers Atlantic Canada. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated affordable housing challenges in Canada in many ways. Jill will examine the current and future impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has/will have on affordable housing in Canada, including Atlantic Canada. In addition, Jill will share how CMHC is supporting Canadians throughout the pandemic as it relates to housing.

Jill Snow is the Outreach Specialist in Partnerships and Promotions with CMHC and covers Atlantic Canada. With 19 years of experience in the financial industry, she has specialized in both commercial and residential real estate insurance and lending, including affordable housing. Most recently, she has worked with many Affordable Housing stakeholders to create solutions under the National Housing Strategy to address affordable housing issues across Newfoundland and Labrador.  Jill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with Honors from Memorial University of NL.

Jill and her husband are kept busy with their 10 and 6-year old children. Jill makes family and giving back to the community top priorities. Jill is a Board Member with Habitat for Humanity NL and the Canadian Home Builder’s Association of NL. She was also recognized at a National Canadian Blood Services (CBS) ceremony as an Honored Volunteer for inspiring others to give back to their community through volunteer work.  Jill has a love for basketball and has spent time coaching youth teams in Nova Scotia as well as with Special Olympics in Newfoundland & Labrador.
