How can we make a public space into a better “place”? Fred and Kathy from PPS will host a Place Game in Bridgewater. Using their tools and techniques, this workshop will draw on participant’s experience and intuition about public space and help them to identify what is working and what can be improved upon based on how people are (or are not) using the space.

Agenda

9am – Introductions, overview of placemaking and description of the Place Game

10am – Place Game on King Street

12pm – Lunch and Wrap up

Location: Bridgewater, Nova Scotia

Meeting place: Bridgewater Fire Hall, 81 Dominion Street

Cost: $50 for LPPANS members/municipal staff; $25 for Planning Advisory Committee members or Councillors; $15 for students. (Maximum 30 spaces)
