Planner – Full Time Position

The County of Annapolis Community Development Department is currently seeking two Planners to join their team. This is an opportunity to work amongst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Bay of Fundy shoreline and the lush Annapolis River valley, where you will be captivated by coastal communities, towns, village, historic properties and stunning parks that are the pride of our county. Annapolis County is an ideal location to live, work and play.

The Planners will be positions that will support and participate in projects and applications under the direction of the Director of Community Development.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in land use planning; minimum two years of relevant experience; experience in a municipal government would be considered an asset; certified as a Development Officer through the Nova Scotia Municipal Development Officers Association considered an asset or become a member shortly after employment; and membership in Canadian Institute of Planners and regional/provincial affiliate or become a member within 3 years of date of employment.
