On June 21 and 22, 2023, the City of Moncton hosted the ‘New Brunswick Summit on Housing and its Relation to Community Planning.’ The event was spearheaded by the New Brunswick Planning Directors in partnership with the New Brunswick Association of Planners. The event was funded by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and the provincial Department of Local Governance and Local Government Reform. The event was attended by approximately 75 participants, made up of mainly planning practitioners and other key stakeholder including government officials, non-profit groups, developers, and real-estate professionals. A summary of the event, key research findings, and recommended actions are included in the summary report.

Les 21 et 22 juin 2023, la ville de Moncton a accueilli le " Sommet du Nouveau-Brunswick sur le logement et sa relation avec la planification communautaire ". L'événement a été organisé par les directeurs de l'urbanisme du Nouveau-Brunswick en partenariat avec l'Association des urbanistes du Nouveau-Brunswick. L'événement a été financé par la Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement (SCHL) et le ministère provincial de la Gouvernance locale et de la Réforme de la gouvernance locale. L'événement a rassemblé environ 75 participants, principalement des praticiens de l'urbanisme et d'autres intervenants clés, notamment des fonctionnaires, des groupes à but non lucratif, des promoteurs et des professionnels de l’immobilier. Un résumé de l'événement, les principaux résultats de la recherche et les actions recommandées sont inclus dans le rapport de synthèse.
