Presentation to the Land Matters Advisory Committee
On March 16, 2021 the the PEI Institute of Professional Planners gave a presentation “Planning for a Better Future” to the Land Matters Advisory Committee.

To summarize, their three key recommendations relate to:
- Revisions to the Planning Act in the short and medium term, including completing work already in progress;
- Implementing Provincial Land Use Policies in 5 key areas; and
- The need for Professional Planners in these processes.
It cannot be stressed enough that the PEI Institute of Professional Planners and its members have a significant interest in the work and recommendations of the Land Matters Advisory Committee and the outcome of the Land Matters Project.
